For our brand design final myself, trent schultz and John O'Neil created brand that focused on the future of sustainable fashion.

Our brand, Mendor “your mender vendor” was founded on sustainability, first and foremost. No green-washing here. We have, and always will, strive towards the utmost responsibility in our practices. We believe that owning the current fashions, and staying on trend, can be done so mindfully, far from the guilt of fast fashion, indusry tyrants, and textile waste. Upcycling will clothe the future, and we’re leading that charge.

Our mission with MENDOR is to provide high quality, on-trend looks for our customers, while keeping textiles out of landfills, and instead in the hands of our talented designers. We are delivering the clothes people want to be seen in, and doing so in a way that betters the environment, the antithesis of our big-box competitors.

Looking forward, we see MENDOR as the brand others follow, displaying a successful practice that does not demand “new” production and further textile waste.

MENDOR is the only large-scale, online and in store, clothing label built entirely on an upcycled model. Unlike others, this is not an endevor to better our brand image; this is our image.

We employ passionate curators, who hand-pick unique, second-hand clothing items. We employ highly-inventive designers who tweak and update those items to tackle today’s trends. Our stores carry these products and these products alone, no third-party padding ever.

Below is the brand book our team designed and carefully curated for Mendor. These brand guidelines explain the Mendor’s identity and covers all the brand’s details and standards. It includes our brand’s mission, core values, and it goes all the way through design aspects like logo, colors, typography, and imagery. This brand book lets everyone know how the Mendor brand presents itself to the world.
